MA Program

There are three options for earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History at Texas A&M University. You may earn M.A. in any field of our academic research clusters.

Degree Plan — MA 2 Year (Thesis Option)

Degree Plan – MA 2 Year (Non-Thesis Option)

PhD Program

Become a historian who produces original research with the Ph.D. in History. Through this doctoral program, you will contribute to the scholarly conversation of your chosen field.

Degree Plan – PhD 4-Year Plan (for students entering the program with an MA)

Degree Plan — PhD 5-Year Plan (for students entering the program without an MA)
